Molding and Manufacturing Technician - 1st Shift

This person will be responsible for establishing, troubleshooting, repair and improvement of injection molding and manufacturing processes.  They will interact with engineering to establish injection molding processes for manfacturing including working with manufacturing and engineering on creation and execution of process validation activities.  They will perform all necessary tests, record results and examine product for form and texture to identify defects or imperfections as well as analyze and interpret test data.  They will also provide feedback and pro-active communication to supervisors, management and coworkers to ensure efficient operations.  Contributions are based on industry experience and hand-on knowledge of molding processes, mechanical and/or electrical systems, and components.  This person will troubleshoot and solve problems with routine manufacturing processes and equipment, documenting activities according to GMP and other regulatory requirements.  They will also study production processes and make recommendations for improvements or changes to standards and manufacturing procedure specifications.  They will assist manufacturing, engineering, and project engineering in identifying, specifying, and ensuring new equipment, specifically custom automation equipment, conforms to internal requirements, limitations and specifications for service utilities, software, mechanical or other attributes.   They will also participate in project planning meetings and design reviews, and recommend possible solutions.

Associate's degree or equivalent from two year college or technical school and five to ten years experience in an injection molding environment is required.  Ability to operate standard lathe, milling machine and other tool making equipment for fast turn-around of simple to moderately complex tooling and fixturing is required.

Business Development Engineer

Person will develop customer relationships and sell medical device manufacturing products and services.  Person will call on management representatives such as engineers, purchasing managers, or other professional and technical personnel at existing and potential customers and assure prospective client of desirability and practicability of products or services offered.  They will develop and maintain relationships with key contacts with prospective and existing customers.  They will identify leads and individuals to contact and make contact based on business model of company.  They will fully understand the capabilities of the company and eloquently communicate company's capabilities and resources to customers.  They will establish timely schedule of visits to worldwide customers, attend medical meetings and tradeshows, and identify select opportunities based on company business model.  The will provide timely responses to customer questions, concerns, and product needs, and follow up regularly to assure customer satisfaction and continued communication.  They will review drawings, plans, and other customer documents to develop and prepare cost estimates or projected increases in production from client's use of proposed equipment or services.  They will draw up or propose changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials or services which would result in price reduction or improvement in operations.  They will analyze, evaluate, and recommend cost improvement ideas through product, vendor, and design changes.  They will provide assistance for technical training on new and existing product opportunities for employees and/or customer.  They will also assist with the development of the product design and functionality, and implementation of the product design within the schedule and budget parameters.
Four year college or university degree is required and two to four years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Sales and engineering/technical experience is preferred.  Medical device industry and/or experience is preferred.
