T. Jerome Holleran serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Precision Medical Products, Inc., a specialized medical device manufacturing company which he co-founded in August 1997. Previously, Mr. Holleran was Chairman of Precision Medical Products, Inc. Prior to that, Mr. Holleran was Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Arrow Precision Products, Inc., a 1984 spin off company of Arrow International, Inc. for which he was also a co-founder, Vice President and Secretary. (Arrow International, Inc. was founded in 1975 by a group of local Reading businessmen through the acquisition of the Arrow Products Division of Rockwell International.) Mr. Holleran is a former director and Secretary of the Arrow International Board of Directors.Mr. Holleran was formerly Director of business planning for the Textile Machinery Operations of Rockwell International and marketing manager of its Arrow Products Division. Prior to joining Rockwell International in 1971, Mr. Holleran was a management consultant for Booz, Allen and Hamilton in New York City where he actively consulted on a variety of multi-national firm assignments. Before joining Booz, Allen and Hamilton, Mr. Holleran performed in a variety of sales engineering and marketing management responsibilities for both RCA and the Westinghouse Electric Corporation.Mr. Holleran is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He earned both his undergraduate degree in electrical engineering and graduate degree in business administration from Carnegie Mellon University.
He is former chairman of the board of the United Way of Berks County (UWBC) and chaired its planned giving committee (Partners for the Future). Mr. Holleran is a former member of the board of directors of the Berks County Community Foundation and the Berks County Chamber of Commerce. He is also a former member of the board of trustees of Alvernia University and was chairman of its trusteeship committee. He is a former Vice President of the Berks County Chapter of the American Red Cross, and a past president of the Wyomissing Institute of Fine Arts, Sales and Marketing Executives of Reading, and Junior Achievement of Reading and Berks County.
Nationally, Mr. Holleran is a member of the board of trustees of Carnegie Mellon University and currently serves as Vice Chairman of its capital campaign committee, and is a member of both its advancement and investment committees. He is also chairman of the advisory board of the School of Music, and a member of the Entrepreneurship Advisory Council and the business board of advisors of the Tepper School of Business of the University.
He is a recipient of the Carnegie Mellon University Distinguished Alumni Award, the Cannon Distinguished Service Award of the Tepper School of Business of Carnegie Mellon University, the Wilbur Doran and Caring Awards of the United Way of Berks County, the Thun Award of the Berks County Community Foundation and the Business Hall of Fame Award of Junior Achievement. His outside interests include golf, tennis, skiing, bicycling, antiquing, art, music and travel.
Douglas N. Yocom is President and CEO of Precision Medical Products, Inc., a specialized medical device manufacturing company which he co-founded in August 1997.Mr. Yocom was formerly Controller of Arrow Precision Products, Inc. a 1984 spin off company of Arrow International, Inc. (Arrow International, Inc. was founded in 1975 by a group of local Reading businessmen through the acquisition of the Arrow Products Division of Rockwell International.) Prior to joining Arrow Precision Products, he was Accounting Manager for Arrow International, Inc. and before that he was a staff accountant for Rockwell International, Inc.
Mr. Yocom resides in Douglassville, PA with his wife Nancy. He has three sons. Mr. Yocom earned his undergraduate degree in business from Bloomsburg University.
Mr. Yocom is on the Executive Board, Hawk Mountain Council, Boy Scouts of America. Mr. Yocom, a Distinguished Eagle Scout, is a Brotherhood member of The Order of the Arrow, and a Silver Beaver.
Mr. Yocom is a former Chairman of United Way of Berks County. He is a member of the Advisory Board of the College of Business at Bloomsburg University. Mr. Yocom also is a trustee of Albright College and a member of Albright’s Community Leader Advisory Council.
Mr. Yocom was the recipient of the 2003 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Award and the 2008 Spirit of Scouting Award from the Hawk Mountain Council Boy Scouts of America.
His outside interests include skiing, biking, hiking, golf, master swimming competition, traveling, and antique corvettes.
George Weaver serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Precision Medical Products, Inc. Previously, he was the Vice President, Marketing for Precision Medical Products, Inc. Prior to that he held the positions of engineering manager, product engineering manager, machine designer, draftsman and apprentice. Prior to joining Precision Medical Products, Inc., he held positions with Arrow Precision Products, Inc., Arrow International, Inc., Rockwell International, Inc., and Textile Machine Works.He holds an associate degree in engineering from Pennsylvania State University, and has completed an 8,000-hour machinist apprenticeship. He completed a program through the Journeyman Tool and Die Maker Pennsylvania Apprenticeship Council, as well as the Dale Carnegie Course. He has been recognized for 35 years of service by Arrow International and was deeply involved in transposing the company from a textile needle manufacturer to a medical device manufacturer. Mr Weaver was heavily involved in the design of medical device manufacturing processes and medical product designs resulting in numerous patent awards.
Mr. Weaver is an active member of the community. He has served on the Eastern Lancaster County Library Building Committee, and the St. Johns UCC Building Committee. He is the director of the New Holland Band, Inc., as well as director of the New Holland Band Museum. He is previously served as chairman of the New Holland Band 150th Anniversary celebration. Mr. Weaver received his 50 year award as a student of music with the New Holland Band in 2006.
Mr. Weaver resides in East Earl, Pennsylvania, with his wife Nancy. They have three grown children and three grandchildren. He enjoys antiques, antique automobiles, gardening, and music.
Robert I. Rhoads, Jr. is Executive Vice President of Precision Medical Products, Inc. which he co-founded in August 1997 and is part-owner. Previously, he was Vice President, Manufacturing and Human Resources of Precision Medical Products, Inc. Prior to that, he was manufacturing manager of Arrow Precision Products, Inc., a 1985 spin off company of Arrow International, Inc. (Arrow International, Inc. was founded in 1975 by a group of local Reading businessmen through the acquisition of the Arrow Products Division of Rockwell International). Mr. Rhoads had also previously been industrial/manufacturing engineer for Arrow Precision Products, Inc.He earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Drexel University, Philadelphia in 1990 with a major in commerce and engineering sciences and dual concentration in operations management and human resources management. He gained significant training experience while in 1993 participating in Leadership Berks, which is a Berks County Chamber of Commerce Community Leadership Development Program. He went on to earn his Masters in Business Administration from Drexel in 1993 with a concentration in operating and production systems.
Mr. Rhoads is an active member of the community, participating in a variety of different organizations. He serves as Chairman of the Lancaster County Workforce Development Board and is a trustee of the Lancaster Theological Seminary. He served fourteen years on the school board of directors including eleven as Treasurer of the Governor Mifflin School District located in Shillington, PA. He is past-chairman of the Threshold Rehabilitation Services located in Reading, PA. Mr. Rhoads is also past chairman of the Cocalico Consortium, a group of local business people, serving East Cocalico Township, PA. He has served on numerous other community boards and committees including chair of the Lancaster County Heart Walk and Mid-Atlantic Mechatronics Advisory Council. He continues to be an active runner, having completed half and full marathons.
